Home education is getting more popular with a lot of parents. They want their children to stay at home safe and comfortable while continuing their education. It was even proven that home education is much better compared to that given in schools. Of course, we have to also put emphasis on the dangers of being in school nowadays.

Before opting for home education, as a parent, you should be aware that it is more expensive compared to that of going to a private or public school. You will be buying school supplies and other necessities for your child’s education.

Other parents choose to teach their own child instead of hiring a professional teacher. This might have positive aspects but you have to consider that being a full time teacher requires a lot of hard work and dedication. You will also need to consider that your child might not take you too seriously during the learning process.

It is much better to hire a professional teacher from your local school, someone that your fellow parent have referred, or you can surf the internet and look for professionals who does home schooling. This of course would be more costly but it is worth every penny. A professional teacher will be more experienced in giving your child an education that he will need which is more or equal to the standard lessons given in schools.

Before hiring a professional teacher make sure that you do a background check and look for certifications and look over his or her resume. Some references can be a great help to check if the teacher is quite credible and can do the job well. You have to remember, you are paying for his services.

If you have decided to have your child a home education, be sure to make some arrangements earlier. It is wiser to do so, especially if you will be hiring a teacher from a local school. This will ensure that your child can have a great schedule and maximize his or her time in studying at home.

It is important to look for a comfortable area for your child to study. It should be a quiet place and far away from distractions. Your child will be able to learn his lesson faster in a comfortable and well lit study area.

With all of these aspects taken cared of, your child can study more comfortably in the safety of your home. You can also put away your worries in regards to your child’s education.

Parents who make a decision to home school their pre-school youngsters have investigated the value of teaching your own children at home. Beginning home school at the pre-school age is a superb method to get the parent and the kid used to the concept of learning at home. This is also a good way to ease into learning how to teach and organize the home schooling schedule. The child is not used to attending school; therefore there’s not adjustment period. Also, pre-school kids are incredibly straightforward to educate because it is typically in playing that they learn.

When creating a tailored preschool curriculum mums and dads supply a secure environment with interactive toys. Actually many parents also operate their own home-based business selling educational toys for youngsters. Believe it or not, the parent is the child’s first teacher. Kids at this age imitate everything their mum and dad do by observation, playing, helping, chatting, and listening. Reading to youngsters at this age is one of the best ways to develop keen readers. At this age, a settled curriculum isn’t required. Children learn from coloring, cutting, pasting, counting, singing, rhymes, games, playing with clay, playing in the playground, and learning to gel with others. It’s vital to incorporate some of these activities daily in an unstressed, relaxed demeanour. Kids at this age need your love and attention more than they require academic work and structure.

The key to learning at this age is to provide plenty of hands on projects, especially with arts and crafts. Many kids in this group have play dates where they meet with other children and go to parks, farms, even trips. Pre-schoolers love to be included in everything you do, whether it is emptying the dishwasher, or sorting mail, and particularly baking. Although it may appear that their short attention span doesn’t make allowance for intense learning, they are learning real life experiences.

Homeschooling is educating children aware of academic materials and content chosen by parents. The instruction of youngsters is most usually done by oldsters, and typically with the assistance of personal tutors. Homeschooling is increasingly becoming recognized as a viable different to institutional education, and fewer families are being targeted for prosecution. In an unintended demonstration of the increasing acceptance of homeschooling, the outgoing Superintendent of Public Instruction for the state of California, Delaine Eastin, caused a furor by telling the state legislature that homeschooling was illegal which families might not type non-public colleges themselves or teach their children without credentials. Homeschooling is not directly addressed. There is disagreement over what that means.

Parents need to contemplate a range of things before deciding to keep their children home. Is homeschooling a good selection for your family? Folks considering educating their youngsters through homeschooling could feel overwhelmed when trying to create the decision. There are such a lot of things to think about: How do I understand what to show? Oldsters today have more options than they once did: ancient public faculties, magnet and charter faculties, non-public faculties, and homeschooling. There’s little compelling proof that children learn more in anybody kind of school.

Folks should know [that the] volumes they get are different only in the content of the tests; all alternative info within the Teacher Manual is in the Parent Manual. Oldsters need to determine the validity of the requirement to have their kids home schooled. Parents argue that government-sponsored tests assume every student has followed a specific curriculum and that cooperating with such testing means losing the freedom of curriculum that homeschooling provides. On the other hand, states feel accountable for guaranteeing that all college-age kids receive an adequate education and argue that requiring homeschooled students to take a state take a look at provides a reasonable quantity of accountability for performance.

Many people are unaware of the hundreds of homeschooling, scholarship and grant and student loans opportunities available with many educational institutions that have developed financial assistance programs. Free online degree, for many subjects like forensics, options are therefore a reality that those who thought they can’t afford an education will be able to grasp. Free online degree programs are flexible and allow one to have a job too while studying. The costs of education are incredibly high and the possibility to pay is very limited even if one has already joined the workforce. Grant programs are in fact a bliss for self-motivated students eager to learn.

Because of lack of information or discouraged that too low grades or qualifications make scholarships out of reach, not too many people access a free online degree. Some colleges have non-traditional selection systems, while others remain performance-oriented. The funds provided for a free online degree do not require reimbursement, as it happens with student loans. The first to be able to access such grants are people with artistic skills, those who do community services, athletes or candidates for work fields where there is a crisis of specialists. Eligibility also extends to older women who want to take up college, the disabled or children of military personnel.

There are universities that allow access to free online degree opportunities on the basis of tests and contests. You can learn about such financial assistance and the requirements you need to match, from various free online degree resources. The admission process is perhaps the biggest challenge you’ll have to face. Before you can get access to a free online degree program, you have to file an application, fill in questionnaires and register with a university. Starting from the data you provide, you may be asked to come up with supplementary documents.

Much help comes from free online degree directories that can assist one with identifying the best college for personal needs, all starting from a few search parameters that you have to set. The access to grants and scholarships can thus be made according to courses to study, cost, colleges and programs, or demographics. With the help of a directory, you will manage to get a list of schools that have free online degree programs; plus, you will get supplementary guidelines from the institutions. Do not destroy your chances of superior education by neglecting such free online degree availability from the beginning. If you don’t try it, you lose from the start!

Are you considering the homeschooling of your kids? This is indeed an important decision that you will be taking as this will determine the education that your children will be receiving. Homeschooling has gained some popularity during recent times but this does not mean that it is free from any flaws. In order to help you learn more on homeschooling I have written this short article and hope that it will be helpful for you when it comes to taking a decision.

The most important thing about homeschooling is that it offers plenty of customization abilities. In this way the program can be modified in order to suit the needs of kids. Homeschooling also provides more ground for personal attention thus making it more effective than conventional education. This lets corrective measures to be taken if the kids have some understanding problems. There are in truth many other disadvantages of homeschooling that exist and it might be useful for you to do some further research.

It should be pointed out however that homeschooling is not that perfect. Homeschooling parents must be aware of some of the disadvantages that are associated with homeschooling. For example homeschooling parents will have to dedicate themselves completely to the task. Homeschooling cannot be achieved on a part-time basis. You may experience some financial problems as you will be living on only one salary. There are some other disadvantages of homeschooling such as the socialization problem that are available and it should be essential that you find more on this before choosing this educational method for your kids. You can read more in French on distance education at this url: e-formation

The good news is that there are some ways that you can handle the disadvantages. Homeschooling parents can plan some outings to make sure that kids have chances to socialize. The homeschooling parent might also investigate the setting up of a part-time business in order to have some revenue. It might be interesting for you to start an online business. French readers that want to find more on this can check out this text on making money online as it carries some interesting information.

Homeschooling has been attracting some followers during recent times with more and more people interested to educate their kids in this way. Although homeschooling has some important benefit you should also be aware of the disadvantages that may be associated with this education method. It is only then that you could take the best decision.

Most of the people today go to public schooling as the main stream of education. However, homeschooling has started to become more and more popular. The parents got a choice to teach their kids from home. In fact, with the internet technology readily available now to most home, accessing homeschooling information from home is never easier. All you need is a computer and Internet connection to get into the world of homeschooling.

Public schools vs home schools can be truly a great life experience. The kid gets to understand the meaning of interaction with their peers. I have attended public school since young. I think I enjoy the process alot.. Of course, there are good and also the bad experiences. But the overall process was fun. Regardless, more and more these days, parents who wishes to homeschool their children will need to be informed properly of the right homeschooling information.

The primary key to a good coaching is tenacity. You have to be discipline enough to stick to a daily regime in order to properly school your child. Useful homeschooling information can be found online and can certainly help you better understand this process before you start. Reading up on these information will help one answer many questions such as “Are you qualified to teach your kid?”, or “Are you truly going to challenge your children just as the teacher would if they are in a public school?”.

Some parents will find it much more convenient to homeschooling their kid, or the safety of their child. All these reasons are valid. However, you cannot ignore the fact that your child need to interact with their peers as they grow. This help to faciliate their learning of social skills which will be very helpful when they grow up. Your child’s education is a big decision to consider for you as parent. Make sure you make the right and informed choice. More about this at homeschool software

The two main types of motivation, intrinsic and extrinsic, both affect the process of learning. Intrinsic motivation derives from an inherent interest in that which is being taught, extrinsic motivation relates to influences externally.

Some students have their own intrinsic motivation or external motivation, others need to be motivated to learn. There are many things that teachers can do in order to motivate their students to learn. Here are several strategies that can be used to motivate students.

– Produce a supportive environment and build trust by greeting students, interacting with them and indicating a genuine concern about them as individuals.

– Highlight the links that exist between effort and outcome.

– Regularly give them reminders that learning is something that requires patience, and that results may take time to see.

– Divide the learning process into digestible pieces for students to take in.

– Reduce students performance anxiety during learning activities.

– Try and make sure that learning tasks given provide a reasonable challenge. They must not be either too difficult or too easy.

– Weak learners are accustomed to experiencing failure so they should be helped to experience success on a more regular basis.

– Students will be more likely to want to learn when they have a greater appreciation of the value of what they are learning, and when they believe that they will succeed by applying a reasonable amount of effort.

The teachers attitude is also critical when it comes to dealing with students. It refers to all that a teacher does or says in class. It concerns a teachers understanding, awareness and approach.

They should have a plan of action in terms of how they relate to their students. It should be realistic, measurable, and flexible. Whilst it would be beneficial to write it down, it is most important to at least know it for themselves; either way they must be sure to adhere to it.

Home Schooling Overview : Benefits of Home Schooling

Home Schooling Overview : Benefits of Home Schooling

If you’re considering homeschooling, I’m sure one of the biggest factors in your mind is how you’re going to make the time to do it. Most people have a job, or even two jobs if both parents work. Combine that with all the other commitments on the average person’s calendar and it just seems overwhelming at times.

First off, homeschooling should be considered a whole family commitment. Leaving it to one parent while the other works a full-time job will work most of the time, but it’s nice to have someone to talk with when it comes time to plan lessons, look into new curricula, take over when one gets sick and review the progress of the young student. If both parents are involved, even if only a little on one’s part, it becomes much easier and effective.

A survey released in December of 2008 done by the U.S. Department of Education’s National Center for Education Statistics reported that in the Spring of 2007, over 1.5 million children were being home schooled. And that was up over 400,000 kids from just four years earlier. And almost double the figure from 1999. What’s going on?

The top three reasons parents gave for home schooling were:

1. They had concern about the school environment.

2. They wanted to provide more religious or moral instruction.

3. They had dissatisfaction with the academic instruction available.

The teen years are an extremely important time in the family building process. Spending six to eight hours away from the home can be very detrimental to a teen’s ability to cement family relationships. Over time, subtle changes can erode family relationships, especially during the more tumultuous adolescent and teen years. By providing a homeschool education, parents can prevent this erosion and help strengthen the family bond.

The second reason to home school given above really needs no explanation. Parents merely want more structure and faith to enter into their children’s education. That’s their prerogative.

And the third reason is actually self-explanatory also. Parents just don’t feel their school systems live up to their expectations for a quality education. They would rather sacrifice their time and money than short their child’s education. A noble expression of love.

Although it may take a lot of organization, determination and energy, combining homeschooling with work can be done. And it will be a rewarding experience for parent and student alike

A former new Labour aide who worked closely with Tony Blair, Peter Hyman outlined that there should be a radical shake up of the education system where GCSE’’s would be abolished. It was also highlighted that he was convinced that the government’s direction was wrong.

This was just days before hundreds of thousands of pupils picked up their A-level results and a week before GCSE grades were released; Hyman says the nature of the exam system means that children are not being taught how to think. Hyman, who was a government speechwriter and strategist, is now a deputy head teacher at a London comprehensive. “This [criticism] is aimed at government,” he said. “I blame the system – not schools for doing what they are told.” His plea comes as a poll of company directors today reveals widespread dissatisfaction. One in five directors describes the quality of education in schools as poor or very poor, with half rating it as average.

The Institute of Directors surveyed 1,316 of its members and found that one-third admitted having employees who lacked literacy, numeracy or low-level IT skills, with 70% of those saying it causes a significant problem for their business. The vast majority want much higher priority placed on literacy, numeracy and skills such as public speaking.

In an article in the Observer (16/8/09), Hyman wrote: “There is almost an unspoken deal: we’ll spoon-feed you the required information to pass your exams, if you play by the rules and do your homework on time … GCSE exam results are not a true reflection of the talent of my students … It is time to scrap them.” Is this the reason for homeschooling vs public school?

Hyman calls for a system in which all teenagers take a variety of exams and carry out extended projects between the ages of 14 and 19. A-levels could be incorporated alongside many other options but not as a standalone qualification. Christine Blower, general secretary of the NUT, said: “Standing inside a classroom is very different to standing inside a government department.” Referring to the MP Vernon Coaker, she added: “It will be interesting now that we have a schools minister who has been a teacher.”

A spokeswoman for the Department for Children, Schools and Families said there was already a range of choices for pupils, such as diplomas and apprenticeships. GCSE reform next month would also mean more varied questions.

New Conservative plans for A-levels and GCSEs emerged last night. Some of the proposals being considered include giving more points in school league tables for A-levels achieved in “hard” subjects, such as maths and physics, and fewer points for so-called “soft” subjects such as media studies; and removing vocational qualifications, including the government’s flagship new diploma, from league table rankings because they are “nowhere near as academically demanding”.

Michael Gove, the shadow children’s secretary, told the Sunday Telegraph that Labour’s “meddling and micromanaging of exams” had “dumbed down” the system. Homeschooling vs public school you decide?

Home School Cirriculum – Should I Homeschool my children?

One of the first questions most parents ask is does home schooling actually work, and isn’t it going to take up to much of my time, how can I get all that I need done and home school. However homeschoolers are aware that all the worries and woes get done, especially when one knows about the barrage of current headlines of failing standards in education. Parents are also only too aware of the fact that the public schools have problems, but really wonder whether they can do any better. One natural response for some parents is to try a little harder to see if they can afford private schooling but, even if this were possible, are the private schools faring any better than the public schools? Would a home school curriculum help the situation in anyway.

The simple fact of the matter is that there are many, quality studies which show that, on average, home schooling produces actually superior students. To an extent of course this is understandable as parents clearly have an effect on education no matter which route they take. A parent who is genuinely interested in the education of his or her children who provides a home School Cirriculum, the resources, help to motivate their children, will often produce better results as the children are receiving a lot of individual support and intervention this is often a help not an hindrance, particulary for children with additional needs.

In the United States the Department of Education agrees. In one study which they sponsored themselves home schooled students produced exceptionally high test scores. The median scores in every grade were far higher than those of public schools and even higher than those of private school students. The average home schooled student in grades one through to four was a grade level above that of public school peers and, by the time home schooled students reached the equivalent of the 8th grade, they were as much as four years ahead of students attending public school.

As if this were not enough, costs were also lower. On average, government schools spent $6,500 per student each year and private schools spent $3,500. By contrast, parents undertaking home schooling spent about $550 per student each year. This figure for home schooling does not of course take into account the time spent by parents on home schooling for which a public school teacher would be paid.

The public school system as we know it today evolved during the second half of the 19th century as one state after another made school attendance compulsory. Perhaps the most interesting question however, and one which rarely seems to be asked, is why, if public schooling offered such superior value, why was necessary for the states to make it compulsory and to force parents to put their children into the public school system. Which appears to be a very interesting point to ponder on.

It could be, and sometimes is, argued that this was due to the ignorance of rural parents who did not see the value of education. However, it is interesting to note that adult illiteracy rates in 1840 Massachusetts were as low as 2% and that, by 1995, this figure had risen to 19%, in spite of apparently enormous advances in the intervening years. In 1840 libraries were rare and today they are everywhere as books are both relatively inexpensive and easy to trade.

Today in the United States over a million children are home schooled and thousands of home schooled students have attended colleges and universities, including many of the most prestigious and difficult to get into.

Whatever your own thoughts about home schooling vs public schooling or whether a homeschool curriculum would work for you there is no doubt that the results clearly show the advantage of home schooling.

Homeschoolcirriculum.info provides advice, information and resources on many aspects of the advantages and disadvantages of homeschooling and a range of curriculums for both homeschoolers, parents and schools.

Michigan Homeschooling- Educational Information For You!!

This is not intended to be legal advice it is distributed for information purposes. Check for updates at your public library and on the Michigan State Department Education page: Information on Home Schools.

Michigan’s Compulsory School Attendance Law

The Michigan homeschooling community should be aware of the following: The law states that “every parent, guardian, or other person in this state having control and charge of a child from the age of 6 to the child’s 16th birthday, shall send that child to the public schools during the entire school year” (MCL 380.1561, Section 1561[1]). Thankfully, Michigan’s Compulsory School Attendance law also contains exemptions so that all children between the ages of 6 and 16 do NOT have to attend a public school.

MCL 380.1561, Section 1561(3): “A child is not required to attend a public school in any of the following cases:

(a) The child is attending regularly and is being taught in a state approved non-public school, which teaches subjects comparable to those taught in the public schools to children of corresponding age and grade, as determined by the course of study for the public schools of the district within which the non-public school is located.

…(b), (c) and (d) are exemptions for students living extremely far from transportation to public school, and for those in attendance in confirmation or religious classes…

(e) The child has graduated from high school or has fulfilled all requirements for high school graduation.

(f) The child is being educated at the child’s home by his or her parent or legal guardian in an organized educational program in the subject areas of Reading, Spelling, Mathematics, Science, History, Civics, Literature, Writing and English Grammar.”

MCL 380.1561, Section 1561(4): “Exemption from the requirement to attend the public school may exist under either subsection (3)(a) or (3)(f), or both, for a child being educated at the child’s home by his or her parent or legal guardian.”

Home Educating Under Exemption (3)(a) as a Non-Public School

If a family chooses to home school under exemption (3)(a) as a non-public school, they will be under the authority of the MDE. The MDE has authority over all non-public schools and home educators operating under exemption (3)(a) because the Non-Public School Act of 1921 gives them that authority. All non-public schools must comply with the requirements of the Act which includes the following:

388.551 Section 1. The superintendent of public instruction is hereby given supervision of all the private, denominational and parochial schools of this state in such matters and manner as is hereinafter provided… It is the intent of this act that the sanitary conditions of such schools, the courses of study therein, and the qualifications of the teachers thereof shall be of the same standard as provided by the general school laws of the state.

388.553 Section 3. No person shall teach or give instruction in any of the regular or elementary grade studies in any private, denominational or parochial school within this state who does not hold a certificate such as would qualify him or her to teach in like grades of the public schools of the state.

388.555 Section 5. The superintendent of public instruction by himself, his assistants, or any duly authorized agent, shall have authority at any time to investigate and examine into the conditions of any school operating under this act… and it shall be the duty of such school to admit such superintendent… or authorized agent, and to submit for examination its sanitary condition, the records of enrollment of pupils, its courses of studies… and the qualifications of its teachers.

What Should a Non-Public School Home School Do if they wish to Exist?

To begin a non-public school home school you simply begin home schooling. You do NOT have to ask permission, get a license or even a permit to get started.

You do NOT have to request a Non-Public School Membership Reporting Form (form SM4325).

You must be or use a certified teacher (or claim a religious exemption to this requirement).

You must teach curriculum comparable to that taught in your local school district according to your child’s age and grade.

You must provide information regarding “enrollment of pupils, courses of studies and the qualifications of teachers” if, and only if, the Superintendent of Public Instruction or one of his/her “authorized agents” requests this information from you. You may report this information on the SM4325 form, or you may simply submit to the MDE a letter providing the information required by law.

You must submit to investigations and/or examinations by the superintendent or his agent “at any time” at your “non-public school” (your home), unless you are willing to refuse this kind of intrusion into your home and are willing to have the operation of your school suspended, and/or be taken to court over the matter. Although no school official has attempted this type of harassment, anyone choosing this exemption should know that the possibility exists for this to happen.

Home Educating Under Exemption (3)(f) as a Home Education Program

Michigan homeschooling Families choosing to home school under exemption (3)(f) are not required to do any type of reporting to any school official. If you are sent a SM4325 form, you do not have to return it or make any type of response. The MDE has stated that, “If the home school family has not registered, the Department will consider the home school family to be operating under the exemption (f) solely.” There is also no law requiring that any information be provided to the local or intermediate school district. Therefore, a home school existing under (3)(f) has no responsibility to provide any information to local school officials.

To begin a home education program you simply begin home schooling. You do NOT have to ask permission, get a license or even a permit. You do NOT have to request a Non-Public School Membership Reporting Form (form SM4325). You must provide your children instruction in the subject areas of Reading, Spelling, Mathematics, Science, History, Civics, Literature, Writing and English Grammar.”

The Michigan Department of Education’s Position on the Exemptions

The following statements have been taken from a Question & Answer document which the MDE provided to all of the Local and Intermediate School District Superintendents. It details how they have interpreted their role concerning the exemptions available to home educators.

“A home school family choosing to operate under exemption (a) solely, and complying with the requirements of the Non-Public School Act is considered a non-public school.”

“A home school family choosing to operate under both exemptions (a) and (f) must comply with the requirements of both (a) and (f).”

“A home school family choosing to operate under exemption (f) solely, is NOT a non-public school and NEED NOT comply with the requirements of the Non-Public School Act.”

“The MDE plays no role with this (the family choosing exemption (f) solely) home schooling family.”

“There are no minimum qualifications for the teachers (in an exemption (f) solely home school) except that they must be the parents or legal guardians of the children.”

“The (exemption (f) solely) home school family does not report to the MDE.”

“Question: How does a home school family operating under exemption (f) provide an organized educational program in the subject areas of reading, spelling, mathematics, science, history, civics, literature, writing and English Grammar?
Answer: The state does not regulate the content of the basic courses.”

The Sons of the Lord God in Bible versus Quran (17)

This is the 17th article of the series:” The Sons of the Lord God in Bible versus Quran”.

In the Bible, Paul affirms the Faith in the Son of God by saying that Jesus is the son of God and he is the owner of everything; he is the lord of all. The Noble Quran says that Jesus is but a Messenger and it is an unforgivable sin when you say or believe that the Almighty Creator has a son or sons; this major sin will lead to the Eternal Fire in the Hereafter.

——————————————————————–

The Sons of the Lord God in the Bible (17)

In the Bible (Galatians 4:1-7), Paul says

What I am saying is that as long as the heir is a child, he is no different from a slave, although he owns the whole estate. He is subject to guardians and trustees until the time set by his father. So also, when we were children, we were in slavery under the basic principles of the world. But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons. Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir.

——————————————–

Galatians 4:1-7 in four different versions of the Bible:

New International Version

1What I am saying is that as long as the heir is a child, he is no different from a slave, although he owns the whole estate.

2He is subject to guardians and trustees until the time set by his father.

3So also, when we were children, we were in slavery under the basic principles of the world.

4But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law,

5to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons.

6Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.”

7So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir.

American Standard Version

1 But I say that so long as the heir is a child, he differeth nothing from a bondservant though he is lord of all;

2 but is under guardians and stewards until the day appointed of the father.

3 So we also, when we were children, were held in bondage under the rudiments of the world:

4 but when the fulness of the time came, God sent forth his Son, born of a woman, born under the law,

5 that he might redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

6 And because ye are sons, God sent forth the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

7 So that thou art no longer a bondservant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God.

English Standard Version

1I mean that the heir, as long as he is a child, is no different from a slave, though he is the owner of everything,

2but he is under guardians and managers until the date set by his father.

3In the same way we also, when we were children, were enslaved to the elementary principles of the world.

4But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law,

5 to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. 6And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!”

7So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.

King James Version

1Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;

2But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.

3Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:

4But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

5To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

6And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

7Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

===============================

The Sons of the Lord God in the Quran (17)

The Noble Quran makes the topic of the son(s) of God very clear and says that Allah, the Almighty Creator, has neither a son nor a partner.

In addition, The Quran makes the signs that Jesus was not god very understandable.

The Historical background of the verse 4:172:

The top Christians priests of Najran (the south of Saudi Arabia) went to the Prophet Muhammad and said: ‘O Muhammad, why do you insult our lord?’

Muhammad said: ‘And who is your lord?’

They said: ‘It is Jesus’.

Muhammad: ‘Why, what do I say about him?’ he asked.

They said: ‘You say he is the salve and messenger of Allah!’

Muhammad said to them: ‘It is not shameful for Jesus to be a slave of Allah’.

But they said: ‘It is shameful’,

And then the verse 4:172 (The Messiah, Jesus will never scorn to be a slave unto Allah) was revealed”.

It should be emphasized that it is unforgivable sin to say or to believe that the One Almighty Creator [who is Allah or God or the Lord or Jehovah or whatever name(s) you are giving Him] has a son or Sons.

From the Islamic point of view, the conclusion of this fundamental topic that may establish or destroy one’s faith is that:

Any one who believe that the Almighty Creator has a son or Sons; he messes up his faith and is considered as a disbeliever and in the afterlife he will end up as an eternal inhabitant of the Eternal Hell.

Any one who believes that the Almighty Creator has neither a son nor a partner, he has a good faith and is considered as a believer; and in the afterlife, he will end up as an eternal inhabitant of the Eternal Paradise.

Verses 4:172-173 make the topic of the son(s) of God plain, clear and understandable.

——————————————–

The meanings of verses 4:172-173:

Verse 4:172

The Historical background of the verse:

The top Christians priests of Najran (the south of Saudi Arabia) went to the Prophet Muhammad and said: ‘O Muhammad, why do you insult our lord?’

Muhammad said: ‘And who is your lord?’

They said: ‘It is Jesus’.

Muhammad said: ‘Why, what do I say about him?’ he asked.

They said: ‘You say he is the salve and messenger of Allah!’

Muhammad said to them: ‘It is not shameful for Jesus to be a slave of Allah’.

But they said: ‘It is shameful’,

And then the verse 4:172 (The Messiah will never scorn to be a slave unto Allah) was revealed”.

The meanings of verse 4:172

Jesus, the Messiah, whom you claim is a god or son of God, would never disdain, or scorn or reject haughtily, to be a servant of God, neither would the angels who are nigh, to God, disdain to be Allah’ servants.

this is a splendid digression [to the matter of the angels], and it is mentioned as a refutation of those who claim that the angels are gods or the daughters of God, just as He refuted, with what was stated before, the Christians who claim that which is the subject of the address to them [above]. Whoever disdains to worship Him, and waxes proud, He will assuredly muster all of them to Him in the Hereafter.

In other words, the verse says that Jesus will never scorn to be a slave unto Allah) he will never deny his servitude to Allah.

This was revealed in respect of the top Christians priests of Najran saying to the Prophet: “O Muhammad, what you say of Jesus is shameful”. Allah said to them: it is not shameful that Jesus is Allah’ servant, nor would the favored angels ever not acknowledge that they are servants of Allah. Whoever scorns to acknowledge that being his servant (and is proud) is too proud to believe in Allah, (all such) believers and unbelievers will Allah assemble unto Him on the Day of Judgment.

The meanings of verse 4:173

As for those who believed in Allah, Muhammad and the Quran and did righteous deeds, that are acts of obedience in that which is between them and their Lord, Allah will pay them in full their wages, the reward for faith and deeds, and He will give them more of His bounty, what no eye has seen, no ear has heard and no man’s heart has ever wished for.

And as for them who disdain and are too proud to believe in Allah Muhammad and the Quran, Allah will chastise them with a painful chastisement, which is the chastisement of the Eternal Fire, and they shall not find for themselves, besides God, that is, other than Him, any friend, to ward it off them, or helper, to protect them from it.

In other words, Allah will punish them with a painful doom; and they will not find for them, against Allah, any protecting friend, any relative to benefit them or helper to save them from Allah’s punishment.

===============================

Verses 4:172-173 of the Noble Quran in four different translations:

Verse 4:172

QARIB: the messiah would not despise being a worshiper of Allah, nor would the angels who are near. whosoever despises worshipping him, and becomes proud, he will surely assemble them all to him.

SHAKIR: the messiah does by no means disdain that he should be a servant of Allah, nor do the angels who are near to him, and whoever disdains his service and is proud, he will gather them all together to himself

PICKTHAL: the messiah will never scorn to be a slave unto Allah, nor will the favoured angels. whoso scorneth his service and is proud, all such will he assemble unto him;

YUSUFALI: christ disdaineth nor to serve and worship Allah, nor do the angels, those nearest (to Allah): those who disdain his worship and are arrogant,-he will gather them all together unto himself to (answer).

Verse 4:173

QARIB: as for those who believe and did good deeds, he will pay them in full their wages, and he will increase them from his bounty. as for those who despise and became proud, he will punish them with a painful punishment, and they will find neither a guide nor a helper for themselves, other than Allah.

SHAKIR: then as for those who believe and do good, he will pay them fully their rewards and give them more out of his grace; and as for those who disdain and are proud, he will chastise them with a painful chastisement. and they shall not find for themselves besides Allah a guardian or a helper

PICKTHAL: then, as for those who believed and did good works, unto them will he pay their wages in full, adding unto them of his bounty; and as for those who were scornful and proud, them will he punish with a painful doom. and they will not find for them, against Allah, any protecting friend or helper.

YUSUFALI: but to those who believe and do deeds of righteousness, he will give their (due) rewards,- and more, out of his bounty: but those who are disdainful and arrogant, he will punish with a grievous penalty; nor will they find, besides Allah, any to protect or help them.

Now that the urge to start home schooling your child has been settled, get ready for some serious anxiety and the exaltation you get from it. The road ahead can really get bumpy but the rewards that come with it more than make up for the trouble. The act of producing a well-rounded and a well-adjusted personality by all means not an easy task.

Before you start, check out what the laws that governs educations says in your country. Some countries will demand that you file an affidavit with the education departments. Basically, there are three categories of home tuition laws; we have Private School Laws, Equivalency laws and Home Education Laws. You will be required to maintain a portfolio that holds records of your child’s educational progress. It is of a paramount importance to look into the legal requirements before you engage on it. Many countries stipulates a minimum educational qualification for the parent or the-would be tutor, this is normally a minimum of secondary school education for primary school children.

Another thing that should be looked into is some form of a support group. A support group consist of like minded people who will insulate you from the uncalled for criticism, pressure and questions from the regular school goers. Many groups organize events such as visits to the zoo, museum, tours to ice cream shops and other fun events. If your child hit it off with other children taking home tuition, then they will be able to form a long lasting relationship that does not fade away when their other counterparts change school. The groups provide a much needed socialization avenue for your kid.

After you have gone through everything that is needed for the success of your home tuition endeavours, then you need to select a curriculum. Depending on the method you are using, you may choose numerous tools that can be able to aid you in the process. The internet is one rich resource for home tuition and you can do some research and look into the available materials.

After you have set the curricular, ground rules must be set. Home tutoring requires a lot of hard work and self-discipline. Below is a comprehensive list of things that will guide you. These are:

Hard work and effort

Eagerness to learn new things

Discipline

Patience and enough time

Flexibility and enthusiasm

The other very important point to take consideration is to consider why you are opting home tuition for your kid. Your motives and reasons for starting your child on home tutoring is the very pillar on which the whole educative lessons for child depends on. Also it is very advisable to consult your child before you embark on it. Ask them how they feel about home tuitions. Once you and your child agree that home schooling is the best for them, then select a custom- made curriculum that best suits your kid. Record keeping is a very important aspect of your child education. Look and settle for the best method for record keeping and set up a schedule. Your schedule must not necessarily be uniform (6-7 hours a day is not a necessity). Allow the kid to dedicate the time for learning as flexibility and fun are the pillars of home tuition. The child should only learn the skills that they are ready for.

Children make great major advances in learning and show more enthusiasm if they are gently handled. This is the whole secret to a successful home tutoring.

Home school organization is essential when teaching multi-aged children at the same time.

As a busy home schooling parent, you need to be as efficient as possible.

Come visit us right here for more homeschool and home schooling Info and get a bunch of great Homeschool Tip Ebooks Homeschool Organization. http://www.HomeSchoolJewel.com

When schooling multiple children, look for paths to make the most sensible use of your resources.

Unit studies are a good way of teaching multi-aged kids at the same time – even with different learning styles. They are especially convenient when your children are close in age.

Expect more from older youngsters and less from younger ones.

what’s self-teaching curriculum?

Curriculum that can be completed independently by scholars, with minimal teacher participation. Lessons are written in a conversational style and can be completed without the requirement for constant or direct teacher instruction.

Your student gains independence and you? More time.

Your children can do many strange roles around the house.

Fetch or organize washing, clean the toilet, play with the baby, change a unclean nappy ( always on the top of my list ) or any other project that needs completing.

While your older kids work on lessons, use the time to complete simple projects and housework that your preschoolers can help with.

Do’school’ while working on household chores. Small children like to help with washing – sorting colors, pushing buttons, adding soap, putting clothes into baskets and matching socks.

Nothing compares to the fun interaction and relationship building that occurs while cooking in the kitchen with children! Learning occurs and meals get prepared at the same time, even though with a bit more mess.

to raise your home school organization, find projects or hands-on activities that everyone can do together. Your younger children will love to participate in your older student’s activities.

Buddy-up your older children with the younger ones. The numerous questions babies ask will brace what your older children know and working together helps everyone to develop patience.

It does take additional work, pliability and patience to achieve a small measure of home faculty organization. When schooling multiple children, especially with preschoolers around, home faculty organization regularly looks like disorganization.

Home schooling permits you, as fogeys, to teach your children the courses that may fit their desires and abilities. In many cases you will be able to give your youngster an education that’s far above and beyond what they can learn in a public college.

Each state has laws and statutes that govern home schooling.

it’s important to understand that laws applying to home schooling are established to guard your child. There should be laws in place to be sure a child isn’t just staying at home and not going to college, but they are actually being educated. Attending college is a legal requirement in each state.

you will need to know exactly what your individual country’s laws are on home schooling. Apart from that, every state has home faculty associations that will help you get a better understanding of the laws. You’ll also have a better experience of your rights as folks regarding home schooling. Again, every state is dissimilar in their testing procedures and necessities so you will need to get yourself up to speed with these.

this may seem pretty complicated to some, but it truly isn’t tricky in the long run. It just takes a little time to read up on the rules and then fill everything out properly.

Teaching a little child simple math skills is pretty simple to most oldsters even if they weren’t truly strong in math. However, what about when that sweet little 5 year old needs a Trigonometry or Calculus teacher? Some parents are faced with this challenge sooner than they expected.

advanced mathematics classes are not subjects that you can leave to a teen to work out on their own. It’s time to recognize the need to expand your homeschool horizons and reach out for additional instructional assistance.
There are several fair options available to the parent who has acted as a teacher. Several of these schools offer an whole program of part-time study for the alternatively educated student. This comes in terribly handy for your college-minded teenager who is need of complicated placement credit.

These classes are listed as Continuing Education so they do not need normal university enrollment. They’re very effective in offering scholars classes that their parents are uncomfortable teaching.

Private tutors are another glorious option. It is also a brilliant idea to find someone who is ready to stick with you through the next challenging courses on the horizon. This consistency can be terribly helpful as your child advances in his or her selected program of study.

eventually, there are other homeschooling fogeys out there who have developed networks to help one another through these difficult classes. Parents offer their assistance based on their area of experience. While a Mom in the same group who is a former Calculus teacher can help this group of students by teaching them sophisticated mathematics. It is important to join your local homeschool organization to discover what’s available in your neighborhood.

Make sure that you do not hesitate to reach out for help when you need it. Your child can have a various and challenging academic experience that prepares him or her for college and beyond.

Help is at hand for the millions looking for student accommodation in London

Finding suitable student accommodation can be quite tricky in any city. With so much to chose from and so few outlets to help you make an informed decision, finding student accommodation can involve a degree of guesswork. For all students the accommodation that they spend their time in has a significant impact on their emotional well being and sadly, finding the wrong student housing can result in an un-enjoyable university experience. With the costs of studying at university spiralling out of control, the importance of finding quality student accommodation has become more and more apparent, putting parents under more pressure to select a good location and property for their child. In a city the size of London, finding student accommodation can be very difficult for several reasons, including the high price of any accommodation in London, difficulty in finding accommodation providers and challenges in finding something suitable that is near to the University of Choice. For these reasons a number of aggregating services have become available to help students find a good property to enjoy throughout their studies by offering a comprehensive breakdown of the student accommodation available to them. One such provider – Student Mundial, is a classic example of a business born out of the nightmare that is finding student accommodation in an unfamiliar city.
Student Mundial originated from the magnified need of International students. Josh (Director of Student Mundial) was looking to study abroad and needed to find accommodation in a country he had not been to in a city he knew little about. The difficulties in securing student accommodation were immense and unfortunately Josh did not enjoy where he ended up, which heavily impacted on his studies. With this experience in his mind, Josh set about developing a service to help others in his position avoid this problem. Student Mundial was born in 2008 to help international students to find student accommodation in London , Nottingham, Newcastle and even student accommodation in Valencia. The usefulness and success of this service has been demonstrated by the Nottingham Trent Universities support of the scheme, who encourage international students looking for accommodation to contact Josh in order to secure good value and good quality student accommodation in London, Nottingham, Newcastle and Valencia.
If you are looking or know others who need help in finding affordable student accommodation in Nottingham or beyond, why not contact Josh and the team at student mundial in order to gain some impartial advice into what is available in an area. Student Mundial can liaise with the landlord while you are abroad, secure the deposit, collect the keys, organise the bills and provide general support for any issues an international student may experience when studying abroad in London, Nottingham, Newcastle or Valencia.

It is estimated that around 1 million students are homeschooled in the United States every year. Homeschooling is an excellent way to stay close to your children; give them the proper care they need while helping them become well-rounded adults. Homeschooling allows you individualize; to find education that is best suited for your children.

Reasons for Homeschooling

Find out whether you share the following thoughts about why homeschooling is required: (i) Parents have religious belief that they can provide better education at home; (ii) Parents thinking that the environment at school will not be congenial for their children; (iii) Homeschooling will help develop character and morality of a child; (iv) There are subjects taught at schools that are not in accordance with the faith, thinking of the parents; (v) The child has special needs or disabilities.

Now, the question arises whether or not homeschooling has any adverse affects on a child’s education; maybe not. Homeschooled children have above average test results on the ACT and SAT college entrance exams. Also, homeschooled kids are sometimes better at social adjustment than kids who go to school. The way the homeschooled children make up for not attending a regular school is by participating in homeschool support groups, scouting, church and recreational activities, and other associations.

Getting Started with Homeschooling

One way of knowing more about homeschooling is by joining local support groups. Such groups can be found by word of mouth or through public or private schools, religious groups, or state or national associations. Each state has at least one homeschooling association. These groups offer necessary advice and information and hold conferences at which families who school at home discuss legal, philosophical, and teaching issues. Some school districts allow homeschoolers to attend public school part-time.

Following are different homeschool methods: (i) Diane Lockman’s authentic classical trivium (The Classical Scholar) unit studies, (ii) Charlotte Mason’s methodology, (iii) Montessori or Waldorf methods, and (iv) eclectic blends of different styles.

Is Homeschooling for Everyone?

No. Homeschooling is hard work. It can also be expensive, as you have to pay for educational materials and extracurricular activities. You may also be faced with a loss of income if one parent has to quit a job to homeschool. References: The Responsibilities of Homeschooling Homeschooling means being able to devote yourself to your children all day through. You, as a parent will fully responsible for the direction, depth, and breadth of your child’s education for the rest of its life. This is a very big responsibility and should not be taken lightly.

Ask yourself these questions to see whether you are ready. Why do you think you want to homeschool? What is it that your child will be able to achieve by being homeschooled that he or she will not receive in a regular school? What do you consider a “good” education? These questions can help you make the decision, and help you create the right environment that will be best your children.

The ability to home school your child has many positive aspects, probably one of the biggest being the ability to give each child very specific, individualized, one on one attention. Another plus for home schooling your own child is that the child doesn’t have to deal with many of the negative peer pressure issues that are so often associated with the entire public school system.

In my own experience I feel I must also tell you that there are a few negative aspects that can go with home schooling as well, such as, the lack of social skills and the feelings of being on the outside looking in that many a home schooled child may develop.

In many ways though I do strongly feel that going to public or private school is best for most children, because most children need to feel a part of things, and going to regular public school gives most children the social skills needed to be a part of the real world. These kids get to experience their prom and other good things in life that they would not get to experience being home schooled.

In many ways I feel that both home school and private school has its negatives and positives but for the most part I do feel that public school is best. Here’s why: home school doesn’t help you learn as many social skills and other skills the way public or private school does – you can miss so many of these opportunities when you’re home schooled.

But, you can also learn things in a different way than others and that can sometimes be a good thing, but in other ways you also miss out on certain things. Over all I think its just a personal choice that a parent has to make for their own child but they should make it with open eyes – not just for protective reasons.

The best idea is to make a choice that’s best for your childs over all well being and education because choosing to home school your child just to keep them safe or to keep them from dealing with peer pressure can be detrimental in so many ways. Without meaning to you may actually be over protecting those kids from life, but this is just my opinion which comes from my own experience dealing with home schooled kids. Think about it for yourself, take your time and you too can decide whether or not home schooling is right for you – and for your kids.

Just like you find in a regular school situation, you should ensure that you take as many educational field trips as you can. Take that trip you have always wanted with your child and make sure it is a trip that will benefit you both. Or if you have been teaching the kid on a particular subject that you feel that a field trip would be beneficial, then that is exactly what you are going to take. This is why the homeschooling learning is so flexible. If you are attached to a support group, you can plan to include other children as well.

Before you take that field trip, they are some guild lines you should follow when planning. These are:

a) Special highlights

b) Size of the group

c) Timing

d) Allowable age

e) Correct rates

f) Eating facilities

Inform your support group in advance about these details to ensure that the right circular is sent out. On the particular day for the trip, arrange to meet the other parents and their children at a particular place. This place of meeting should be convenient to everybody. Plan the mode of travel for the trip and reach the place at least 10 minutes in advance.

This trip is not only for fun, thus ensure that your child bring along their writing materials. Allow them to stare and admire. Don’t hurry them; it is a field day for them. Collect data in advance so that if they have questions, which they will, you have answers beforehand to clear their doubts. If you can’t be able to be the guide, get one as necessity demands it.

All in all, it is important for all of you to have fun, and time to enjoy yourselves with your children.

This is the situation at hand-a child stays at home all day long, the mum is the teacher. This calls for some seriously pondering because there are certain issues of discipline which will be at stake. It is very easy for a child to misinterpret the freedom they have at home and feel that home tuition is just a long holiday to be enjoyed at whatever cost. This is usually a potential time bomb and children need to be disciplined right from the start, otherwise, failing to do so will only lead to failure.

Home tuition gives you and your child what can only be called ‘true flexibility’. You and your child decides on when, where and how to study and learn. These decisions should be made early enough to remove any misjudgment on the part of the child. If your child is too young to take any active part in your decision to school them at home, put aside a few hours daily for the various activities and stick to it. Otherwise when there is no outside agency like the education department to supervise and no examinations to answer, it is very easy for anybody to get sidetracked. But if your child is old enough, consult him or her and find out what he wants to learn. Apply your parental discretion and come up with a viable time table which suits you both.

Like in a formal education system, homework is an integral part of home tuition. Once a child has been taught, they should be asked to do some part of the coursework by themselves without your input. You will need to ensure that the child willingly sits down and finishes their assignments.

Punctuality, good manners and courtesy are the numerous aspects of discipline that a child has to absorb in their earlier formative years. At a normal school, the interaction with their peers, juniors, seniors and their teachers forge these very important values automatically. At home, the child should be taught the importance of speaking and behaving in a proper manner and appropriate corrections should be done immediately any unsatisfactory behavior occurs.

For the home tuition to be successful, a particular study room or a part of your house should be set aside. The child is expected to be at their desk at the appointed time and in the proper attire with all the necessary learning materials fro the lessons. Don’t allow the study room to be turned into another playing ground, rather ensure that the child follows the laid down rules and regulations strictly. As you are the teacher, supervisor, principal and janitor all rolled up into one, approach the study room with all the professionalism you can master.

One aspect of home tuition that makes it fail is the lack of patience on the part of the tutor. So in spite of all the precautions and steps one may take, it very easy for the child to become familiar with their home surroundings thus making it difficult to discipline them and get them to listen to you attentively. When this happens, switch to something new and allow the child to take a breather. You should take this opportunity to enjoy a break yourself.

What a parent should be aware of is that homeschooling is not an easy option. It requires a lot of hard work and patience. The whole familiarity of the surroundings for the kid makes it even harder for their concentration. But if necessary steps are taken at the very beginning, the home tuition experience will be very successful.

There are many advantages associated with home tutoring your child. As the latest trends show, many families are opting to it than sending their children to the traditional schools. The advantages associated with homeschooling include:

l Flexible schedules

Home tuition enables a child and their tutor to have a flexible schedule. The child does not need to wake up until the set time for the lessons. Your child can start homeschooling at 10 am or later depending on your preferred time on your schedule. You may schedule your child’s home tuitions as you see fit and with materials or subjects that may not even be available in a normal traditional school. You can tailor the school curriculum to suit your needs and to the interests of your child.

l Individual attention for your charge.

In the normal traditional school settings, fifty to sixty students are bunched together and are assigned to one teacher for the whole class. This being the case, the teacher can not devote a hundred percent attention to one child since it won’t be fair to the other children in the class. This is in addition to the fact that it is quite impossible to provide individual attention to all students. With home tuitions, your child gets individual attention that they need. If your child is weak in a certain area, let us say, Mathematics, you could devote more time and energies into it.

Your child’s home tuition schedule can be adjusted to cater for the deficiency .This can only be possible with home tuitions as opposed to traditional schooling.

l No peer pressure

With home tuitions, the child does not need to prove their abilities to the other children. The parent is able to understand their child more deeply and therefore can be able to plan the learning programs accordingly. The parent or the tutor can change the curriculum to suit the learning style of their child. Some children learn better by reading while others do it by writing. Other children do it better from seeing or experiencing things physically. The child is free from negative peer influences.

l Family Activities

The learning can be extended to the family as a whole. This includes field trips and experiments. On top of this, the child receives more quality time with their parents meaning that they are more time for family bonding.

l Religion Learning

This is a sensitive issue on every child’s life, thus most traditional schools shun away from it. With homeschooling or home tuitions, a tutor or a parent can take control over the moral and religious learning of the child without undue attention to themselves. The parent can impact their religious ideologies and deep beliefs into the child mind rather than let the school to do it.

So, if you ever thought that homeschooling has more disadvantages than advantages, think again- the good things far outweigh the bad ones. Give it a try and see your child educational progress improve dramatically.

This is a question a lot parents ask themselves before embarking on this system of education. They are usually in doubts about their capabilities as home tutors. The most obvious fact is that home schooling your child has its own advantages and disadvantages. The flexibilities and control endowed onto you when you start home tuitions for your child can not be gotten in a public classroom situation. The values can not be taught in a public arena situation so as to speak. By taking the initiative to take control of your child’s education, a parent can shape the child’s values better than when they are taught at the normal traditional classrooms. Furthermore, your home made curriculum can incorporate your own religious and morals beliefs which can easily be instilled on your child.

Foe a parent to start home schooling their child, a teaching degree or college education is not a necessity. All that is required is for the parent to at least be a form four graduate. Although it is a much greater responsibility for the practicing parent, your child will receive for more education from the concerned parent than they would have gotten from a public school system. To add more to this if you find that there are some subjects you can not handle, you can employ a tutor to help you with these.

For your child to excel at a home tuition situation, there are two things you need to put emphasis on. These are;

The parent or the tutor must have a true desire to teach their children at whatever cost.

You must have the determination to succeed with your home tuitions.

Total dedication and effort.

If there is no dedication on the tutor’s side (who is most basically the parent), then you efforts will be wasted.

This is all it takes to succeed with home tuitions, the desire and total efforts on your part.

With these two things, your kid will realize a well rounded education that is no match to one who is publically educated. Furthermore, any parent can become an effective and an efficient teacher if they have a true desire to see their children realize a perfect education that surpasses a classroom environment.

There is no one who understands and wants their children to succeed than the parent. And to progress at a much better pace then you would find in a public school situation, a tutor must know and understand the kid well enough and have the desire to see them learn. This is not possible with a public school teacher, their motivation is usually the paycheck they receive at the end of the month. Others have too many children in their class to really care for a specific kid. They absolutely don’t have the time for a single student. The attention that a parent can provide is absolute. This is why children who are home schooled have more potential than their public educated peers.

The biggest problem that the parents face is being unsure of themselves in terms of their ability to teach. School teachers undergoes many years of education programs before they qualify to teach while majority of parents have no teaching training at all. But this should never be deterrent to giving home tuition to your child. You will be surprised how effective your teaching will be assimilated by your child. School teachers face many obstacle on their day to day jobs, thus giving attention to an individual child is usually a tall order. They must overcome and familiarize themselves with many children’s learning styles. Other burdens they have to overcome includes different behaviors, disciplinary problems from different children, school rules and regulation on top others things there are required to adhere to. As a home school tutor, the parent is in charge of only one kid, thus the child learning experience is enhanced greatly.

When it comes to the curriculum, the parent sets it according to what they feel will be beneficial to their children learning experience. They make sure their child learns a specific subject thoroughly before moving ahead. If possible, they can proceed faster because there are no less intelligent children to slow them down. The individual time set for a specific subject is reduced according to the kids learning abilities. In the case of a public or private school, the teacher must start lessons at a precise time and finish at a predetermined time. By getting through with lesson earlier, field trips and other learning activities can be taken care of.

Before you start home tuition for your child, take a little time and search the web for ideas and lesson plans. You are apt to find different topics from different areas of home schooling. With the help of these resources, online home tuition education groups, forums and your strong desire to help your child achieve a good education, you can be assured of success.

Home tuition is the act of schooling your children in the comfort of your home with a tailor made curricular. With the aspect of homeschooling your children at your home, there is always the assumption that home tuition is cheap, this is generally not the truth. Home tuition comes with its own cost. The education given is not limited to one subject but a whole load of subjects thus it becomes quite expensive when it comes to costs. These subjects come with their own cost and the parent is supposed to settle them just like if it were in a traditional education settings. There are various ways of cutting these costs. These are as follows:

The internet- The World Wide Web or what is generally known as the internet is a useful and valuable resource and it would be all most impossible for many parents if it were not there. You can do anything, right from researching for essay papers to curriculum at the comfort of your home and it comes very cheap and convenient for you.

The other way on cutting your home tuition expenses is through online auctions where you can buy curriculum programs and books at throw away prices. If this is not possible for you, then you can pay a visit to your local public library but do not forget to make a list of books which you can borrow to suit your specific needs.

For those parents who are associated with a home tuition group, you can to swap books between the members or members selling each other books which they no longer need but are useful for your case. These include used curriculums and teaching aids which will be very helpful to a particular parent. After you are through with these books, you can sell them or lend to other home tuition parents.

Pool in financial resources and negotiate with publishers for a lower price for the needed books among your support group. If you don’t have a home tuition support group in your area, simply go online for homeschooling communities and forums where you will get support and guidance regarding all home tuition resources.

Another great area where you can get helpful resources includes your local newspapers where you can look for garage and yard sales which have books and craft supplies. Go there and purchase the books that suit your home tuition situation. You can use the craft supplies for a particular craft or a scientific assignment or project.

The most important and expensive part of your home tuition is the curriculum, so before you purchase one, have some consideration into the following points:

ü It should fit into your religious beliefs and your particular family’s moral standards.

ü Your teachings and child’s learning styles should be incorporated into the curriculum.

ü The curriculum should be designed in such a way that it can be used by multiple and upcoming children at whatever stage of life.

ü The curriculum should be fully updated to suit the current educational needs of the children.

If you think that the curriculum on sale is not what you need for your child, feel free to check the internet and get the one you feel is more suitable for your family needs.

If your child’s home school becomes too repetitive, pay a visit to the zoo, science center or any other field trip to break the cycle. Consider these trips as a form of making the child’s concentration on education more comprehensive and all-round.
